Market takes root in new location at Rillito Park

Kyriaki Papas, 7, shows a tomato to her mom, Allison Corkey, at the Heirloom Farmers Market, 4502 N. First Ave. The tomatoes were from RichCrest Farms, which is based in Cochise. More than 70 vendors sold their wares on Sunday. A permanent pavilion for vendors is due for completion by Oct. 1.
