Now accepting applications for Green Valley Village

Heirloom Farmers Markets announces the start of the 2018-2019 open application season starting June 1, 2018. Heirloom manages the Wednesday year-round farmers and artisans market in Green Valley (Green Valley Village, 101 S. La Canada Dr., Green Valley, AZ 85715) that includes farmers, food-related vendors, and handmade local arts and crafts. Each year they open up their applications to encourage new growers, ranchers, producers and artisans to apply.

Heirloom Farmers Markets took over management of the 10+ year old Green Valley market in April 2017. Since then they have doubled the amount of farmers and food purveyors at the market, as well as curated the market to carry the finest crafts and regional goods from the Southwest region. This year-round Wednesday market has proven to be a weekly hub for the Green Valley and Sahuarita community with over 170 vendors in the market system promoting local food and family-owned businesses. Heirloom looks forward in cultivating more local food and branding the market to the needs of the community at large.

“The Wednesday market at the Green Valley Village is most known for its popularity as a seasonal market for winter visitors and snowbirds, and it’s been among our goals to extend that perception to a bustling, year-round market where patrons can do a good portion of their weekly shopping. We cater the annual application process to allow new and returning vendors to participate prior to when winter visitors return and extend into our Summer season when we move indoors. The application process is open from June 1 – July 1, 2018. The market applications can be downloaded from the Heirloom website or picked up at the market information booth. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Heirloom looks forward to our 1 year anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Green Valley-Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce on June 22 at 10am at the Green Valley Village indoor market.
