Wyckoff Family Emergency Fund
On October 20, 2016 the Wyckoff family: George Sr., George Jr., Becky and George’s grandchildren lost their family home and commercial kitchen to a fire. Thankfully, no one was home at the time and their 5 dogs are safe as well. They have lost everything and will have a long journey ahead of them.
This destructive event caps an already difficult year for The Wyckoffs. Grammy Sue passed away unexpectedly earlier this year. The family was in the process of rebuilding their lives as well as the jams and jelly business. However, all of that was lost in the fire.
We asking our Heirloom Farmers Market community–vendor family, customers, and friends in Tucson and Sierra Vista–to please help in any way they can. While the full extent of the family’s needs is as yet unknown, we do know that any monies raised will be particularly helpful and will go towards basic necessities and the relocation and rebuilding of their lives.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. George and Sue have been a part of the Heirloom family for so many years. And in that time, they have extended help to those in need. Now it is our turn to give back and help them.
You can Donate to the Wyckoff Family Emergency Fund at:
www.gofundme.com/wyckoff-family
Or, there will be a donation trailer at the Sunday, October 30th market at Rillito Park if you wish to donate new or gently used household items.
They are in need of Large, X-Large & 3X Tee Shirts, Levi’s for George Sr. 30 X 30 and jeans for George Jr. 48 X 32.
Thank you.
