The Arivaca Community Garden is an organically certified garden through Oregon Tilth. Because of the organic certification, the garden does not use pesticides or herbicides to grow its produce. The use of small chicken hens helps control insects and grasshoppers. The garden sits on four acres in the high desert of Arizona.
