Wolf Den Soaps and Gardens, LLC was started in early 2022 by Les White. Unable to find a soap that satisfied her, she decided to create a soap made with the aroma of the creosote bush (Larrea tridentata) to get that amazing desert rain scent everyday, realizing there were few soap companies that were able to get a subtle yet present smell.
All of our handcrafted soaps are made with a blend of oils chosen to maximize their benefits for your skin. Our bars are between 5 and 6 oz. each. We start with olive oil for its moisturizing properties. Next, we add coconut oil to add a bubbly lather and nice clean feel while using it. Then avocado oil is added as it is beneficial for those with sensitive skin. It’s high in vitamins A, D & E, which is good for your skin and also gives the product a longer shelf life.
The last oils we add are castor oil and hemp seed oil. Castor oil adds to the lather and it is rich in ricinoleic acid which helps in fighting the skin bacteria that cause acne. It easily penetrates the skin layers and makes the skin smooth and supple. Hemp seed oil rejuvenates and nourishes tight or dry skin and prevents flakiness and itchiness. When used on the face, it controls oil production to moisturize without clogging pores. Hemp seed oil restores the skin barrier and helps it to retain moisture, which results in skin that looks healthy, hydrated, and supple. Beeswax is added to help make the soap a bit harder so it’ll last longer, and is a natural exfoliator, ideal for sloughing away dead skin cells.
